Whether you are interested in yoga, meditation or personal development, we are here for you.
The design of our studio is inspired by nature — using carefully selected elements and materials that bring a sense of tranquility and balance to the space and all who enter.
Most of us are living full and busy lives, and SUTRA is here to bring a sense of calm, groundedness and community. We hope to provide you with the opportunity to intentionally slow-down and re-connect.
As we connect more deeply with ourselves (through practices such as yoga, meditation and self-awareness), our way of being in the world and with others often changes. We are able to access greater states of inner peace, balance, and harmony and bring those qualities out into our lives and spheres of influence.
We are also so excited to offer mindfulness classes and community-service opportunities for children.

SUTRA means “thread” and our studio is anchored in the philosophy of interconnectedness—the inherent connection between all living things.
We live in a world that emphasises individualism. Often at the cost of true and meaningful connection, which is an essential part of a healthy and thriving human life.

The central virtue which motivates our community and leadership team. We promote an atmosphere of loving-kindness, inclusion and warmth in all that we do.

Curiosity allows us to learn, develop and connect in ways that (perhaps) we never thought possible. It leads to a state of openness (in body, heart and mind) that moves us away from judgment and towards exploration.

Our Story:
A Note From Me to You
Hi! If you are reading this, somehow you found us. And I am curious what you are searching for. Here, and within yourself.
Maybe, like me, you can feel that our world is rapidly changing. In some ways we are more connected than ever before, and in other ways we are far more disconnected. I believe we need community in real and urgent ways. I believe we need intentional and sacred practices of connection—to ourselves, one another, and the world around us.
The idea of SUTRA was born from here. It was a response to a yearning for pause amidst chaos; for peace amidst turmoil; for connection amidst competition.
The work we do here, together—whether it is practice yoga, meditate with one another, or have meaningful workshops and conversations—is aimed to bring us back to ourselves and an intentional way of living.
On the path of yoga, I see the physical practice as a doorway to deeper levels of understanding and discovery. This is why, at SUTRA, we do not stop with the physical practice of yoga, but offer opportunities to learn other important practices.
I truly believe as we contact more peace, compassion and harmony within, we become channels of peace, compassion and harmony in our families, work environments, and the world around us.
I suppose this is the true story behind our brand, our being. And I am honored to have you as a part of this beautiful community, if you feel called.
